I loved doing these with my daughter. We did realize that the water mixture should be placed in the bottom and not poured over it like we did but it still worked!

Enjoyed doing this again after 20 years of not having one. Works well. Not all the branches puff up like they do in the picture but this one seemed to be the best I've tried so far. A little pricey as I think it should be a dollar store item but I still enjoyed it.
Fun little project before Christmas!
These were really easy and fun for the kids but be warned that they only last for 24 hours. Still worth it though for how neat they were to watch grow!
Bought this for nieces and nephews! They grow in 12 hours!! Do start shedding and make a fun mess. We added more water and they regrew

Totally worked! The kids loved checking the tree every hour to see how much It had grown. DO NOT Poor any liquid ON the tree. Place all liquid in the green dish and watch your Christmas tree grow.
These were gifts for my daughters on Christmas. They loved them and commented everytime they thought they saw more growing crystals. They are not very sturdy Crystals and they took great delight in knocking it down the next day. We did forget to put the garland on so that was a bummer, but it was still really fun.

This was a super cute, very quick (15 minute to make and then sit for 12 hours), no brainer Christmas craft project for ages 8 and up (4 and up to put it together, but 8 and up to decorate as it is fragile). These are done by 6, 8, 8, and 10 year olds.
I have bought projects like this before for my kids and they were duds so I was a bit nervous, but this one was great! And it grows fast so the kids would check back every hour or so through out the day and really see progress. I will definitely buy this again next year!
